Full design, structural calculations of a loft conversion encompassing a side extension and bathroom.
The brief was to gain the maximum space possible without losing the aestethic proportions of the house. This would include a full side extension within which the bathroom would be located.
At the start of the loft conversion.
With the exterior finished the second fix to the interior could commence.
Shell of the rear extension.
The far corner will become the loft room shower room.
Lagging for the loft floor as part heat and part sound insulation. New roof rafters fitted throughout as well as RSJs.
Installation of the integrated hot water solar system for the entire house.
Fully waterproof wet room shower room.
Large open plan bedroom with living room space. Exposed roof beams ready to be clad with oak creating a loft style apartment. Installation of oak flooring throughout.
Living area together with bespoke cupboards fitting in with the bedroom furniture.
